| I've come to the conclusion that the news is too damn depressing. It's the same shit every damn day. Most of the time someone killed someone else or someone died in a bad crash or a big star got arrested. Where is the optimism in that?! The traffic guy almost never has anything good to say. "There is a wreck going southbound on this major highway, so leave about an hour early so you can be an hour late for work anyways." The other thing I love hearing about is Dubya. I can't stand to look at the man, much less hear about what else he is going to do to screw the economy. I guess the only thing good about the news is when the weather guy says that the weather in Florida is in the 80s all week. That's always nice to hear. Alas, remember a few months ago? Those fucking weather guys just wanted to warn us about hurricanes. Fucking assholes... |
